An increasing number of people are discovering that the Creuse is worth staying in for a longer period instead of using it only as a stop-over before arriving at their real holiday location.
And how right they are!

It is really a destination for rest, free from pollution and aggression, sufficiently isolated from trunk roads, motorways and crowds.
Our house is ideally located for all kinds of activities such as walking, cycling, mountain biking and playing golf.  For those practising these activities, we propose special holidays with a theme.

Here are two examples:

Walking - 7 nights for € 345 p.p.
(based on 2 persons per room)
The day of your arrival you will unpack and settle in our house before you enjoy jour first evening meal. The next 6 days you set out to discover the Creuse landscape with the help of our itineraries, maps and advice. For some walks we offer the service of delivering you to or collecting you from an agreed place. Of course you are free not to walk if you fancy doing something else that day. At breakfast you prepare your packed lunch. Returning home, tea will be ready. You have dinner with us at least 5 times. Twice you have the choice of dining somewhere else or ‘at home’.
In the price is included:
- 7 nights B&B (room with private facilities, assorted breakfast)
- 7 packed lunches
- tea on returning
- 5 dinners based on the “table d’hôtes” formula
- delivery/collection service
- provision of maps, itineraries and advice
Not included are 2 evening meals, drinks and, naturally, your own transportation from your home to ours.

We can offer you the same special holiday for cycling and mountain biking

- Golf - 4 nights for € 335 per person
(based on 2 persons per room)
The day of your arrival as well as the other 3 days you will have dinner with us. The next 3 days you do your rounds of golf, 2x on Les Dryades (18 holes par 72) and 1x on a course of your choice. You prepare your packed lunch at breakfast. Ron, your host, may accompany you if you wish.
In the price is included:
- 4 nights B&B (room with private bathroom, assorted breakfast)
- 4 packed lunches
- 4 dinners based on the ‘table d’hôte formula'
- 3 greens fees and bookings
Not included are golf equipment, drinks and all transport.

Tennis
During your stay you may take advantage of playing tennis, in summertime and off season. Ron is a member of a club 8 kms away. If you are invited by him, it is free of charge.
